Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 to 65 years old
- Men or women, provided that women are not currently pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding
- People who can speak, read, and write in English
- People who are willing and able to provide written consent to take part
- People who own and wear a compatible activity tracker (Oura, WHOOP, Apple Watch, Garmin, Polar, Withings, or Fitbit) every day — including during sleep — and are willing to connect it to the GSSI Labs App
- People who own a bathroom scale
- People who are able to drink 600mL (about 20 oz or 2½ cups) of water as directed during the study
- People who are willing to avoid drinking alcohol for 24 hours before each study session
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial, or who have participated in one within the past 30 days
- People who work for a company that makes products that compete with Gatorade, or whose parent, guardian, or immediate family member does (if there is any uncertainty about whether a company would be considered a competitor, the trial investigators ask that this be raised with them before signing any consent forms)
