Who might be able to join this trial:

- People who are willing to avoid probiotic supplements (products containing live bacteria or microorganisms) for the duration of the study — fermented foods such as yoghurt are still permitted
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have signs — either from physical examination or scans — that the cancer has spread to other parts of the body
- People who have had another cancer diagnosed within the past five years, except for certain early-stage cervical changes (carcinoma in situ) or common non-melanoma skin cancers
- People who have previously received chemotherapy for any cancer or other serious disease
- People who have significant conditions affecting how their digestive system works, such as gastric bypass surgery, Crohn's disease, or ulcerative colitis
- People who are not able to communicate effectively in Danish or English
