Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with acute pancreatitis (a condition where the pancreas becomes inflamed), confirmed using specific medical guidelines

- You have stomach/abdominal pain of at least 4 out of 10 on a pain scale at the time of admission

Who may not be able to join:
- You took paracetamol, ibuprofen, or metamizole less than 6 hours before joining the study
- You are allergic to aspirin, anti-inflammatory painkillers (such as ibuprofen), paracetamol, or metamizole
- You have inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis)
- You have bleeding in your stomach or gut, or any other active bleeding
- You have stomach or duodenal ulcers
- You regularly take paracetamol, anti-inflammatory painkillers, or metamizole on an ongoing basis
- You have liver failure
- You have heart failure of a moderate to severe level (confirm with trial site)
- You have kidney failure, whether sudden or long-term
- You have cancer
- Your parent or legal guardian has not agreed to you taking part
- You are 16 or older and have not given your own agreement to take part
