Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are former athletes and still do regular physical exercise at a moderate to vigorous level at least 3 days per week (Group A).
- People who are largely inactive — meaning less than 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week or a low activity score on a standard physical activity questionnaire (Group B).
- People in either group whose exercise habits or inactive lifestyle have been consistent for at least 6 months before the study assessments take place.

- People with a severe ongoing illness — for example, cancer currently under treatment.
- People who use anabolic substances (such as performance-enhancing drugs).
- People who have difficulty understanding spoken or written Spanish.
- People with pacemakers or metal implants that could interfere with an MRI scan.
