  • You previously completed one of two related studies (called B7981027 or B7981031) for a hair loss condition called alopecia areata (which includes total scalp hair loss or full body hair loss).
  • If you came from the study called B7981031, you must have had at least 50% scalp hair loss at both your screening and baseline appointments (measured using a specific scoring system).

Who may not be able to join:

  • If you came from study B7981027 and it has been 30 days or fewer since your last dose, you may not be eligible if you experienced any serious safety problems during that study or in the time between finishing it and starting this new trial.
  • If you left study B7981027 early for reasons not related to safety, any issues that caused you to leave must be fully resolved before you can join this trial.
  • If you came from study B7981031, or from study B7981027 with more than 30 days since your last dose, you may not be eligible if you had serious safety events during those studies or in the time since finishing them.
  • You may not be able to join if you currently have cancer, have had cancer in the past, or have had a condition involving abnormal growth of blood or lymph cells (confirm with trial site).
  • You may not be able to join if you have untreated or poorly treated tuberculosis (TB), or a history of serious infections including a virus called CMV, shingles, widespread cold sore virus (herpes simplex), hepatitis B, or hepatitis C.
