Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who developed aphasia (a condition affecting communication) as a result of a single event, such as a stroke affecting the left side of the brain or a traumatic brain injury.
  • People who are at least six months past the point when their aphasia began.
  • People who were proficient English speakers before their diagnosis.
  • People whose hearing and vision are either normal or corrected to normal using hearing aids or glasses.

  • Children and young people under the age of 18.
  • Adults over the age of 89.
