Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are a woman aged 18 or older
• You have been diagnosed (confirmed by lab testing of tissue or cells) with a specific type of ovarian cancer, primary peritoneal cancer, or fallopian tube cancer that cannot be treated with surgery first, but can be treated with chemotherapy before surgery
• Your cancer is at an advanced stage (Stage III or IV)
• You have not received any previous treatment for your ovarian cancer
• Your Body Mass Index (BMI — a measure of body weight relative to height) is 19 or above
• Your general health and ability to carry out daily activities falls within an acceptable range as measured by a standard medical scale (confirm with trial site)
• You are expected to live for more than 3 months
• Your blood cell counts, liver function, kidney function, and protein levels in your blood are within acceptable ranges as determined by blood tests (confirm with trial site)
• You are able to attend all required treatment appointments and follow-up visits
• You are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the trial
• If you are able to become pregnant, you are willing to use effective contraception during treatment and for 3 months after, unless you have gone through menopause or have had a surgical procedure that means you cannot become pregnant
• You have a confirmed negative pregnancy test before joining the trial

Who may not be able to join:

• You have had another serious cancer diagnosis within the past 5 years
• You have diabetes
• You have had a heart attack, stroke, or blood clot in the lungs within the last 3 months
• You have a heart rhythm problem that is not well controlled with medication (note: some types of irregular heartbeat, such as atrial fibrillation, may still be acceptable — confirm with trial site)
• You have a serious active infection or other active serious illness affecting your whole body
• You have an active hepatitis virus infection or active HIV infection (note: having positive blood results without symptoms may not automatically exclude you — confirm with trial site)

• You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
• You have serious food allergies that would prevent you from eating the food provided as part of the trial
