Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You must be willing and able to give your agreement (consent) for your anonymised health information to be used in this study.
  • You must be an adult (18 years of age or older).
  • You have COPD that is not well controlled, even though you are already using a combination of long-acting inhaler medicines (or a two-medicine combination if steroids are not right for you), and your blood tests show higher-than-normal levels of a type of white blood cell called eosinophils.
  • Your doctor has recently decided to start you on a medicine called dupilumab for your COPD, based on the approved guidelines for that medicine, separately from your involvement in this study.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are not considered suitable for dupilumab treatment according to its official approved guidelines.
  • You are currently taking part in, or have taken part in, another research study within the last 12 months that your doctor thinks could affect the results of this study.
  • You have any health condition — either short-term or long-term — that your doctor believes would make it hard for you to fill in questionnaires, take part in the study, or that could affect how the results are understood (confirm with trial site).
  • You were admitted to hospital because of a COPD flare-up (worsening) within the 4 weeks before joining the study.

This study is not part of the standard drug-approval phase pathway (for example an observational, device, behavioural, or registry study), so a phase success rate does not apply.
