Who might be able to join this trial:

• You must be 18 years old or older.
• You must be a student currently enrolled at KU (Kansas University).
• You must have been diagnosed with bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, or a milder form of either condition (confirm with trial site).
• You must have access to a smartphone.
• You must not have any uncorrected vision problems that would get in the way of participating.
• If you take any psychiatric or mood-related medications, you must have been on a stable dose for at least four weeks before joining.
• You must be able to read and speak English fluently.

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are currently having moderate or serious thoughts of suicide with an active intention to act on them.
• People with significant mental health conditions that could interfere with the study, such as a current substance use disorder or psychosis.
• People with certain medical conditions or taking certain medications that could interfere with the study, such as Type 1 diabetes, cancer, current pregnancy, breastfeeding, or use of corticosteroid medications.
• People whose lab results show signs of medical instability, such as a very low heart rate, imbalanced electrolytes, or serious health complications from malnutrition, or any condition that means they cannot safely receive outpatient care (confirm with trial site).
• People who are already receiving therapy for an eating disorder.
• People who screen positive for anorexia nervosa, atypical anorexia nervosa, or who have a low body weight (BMI under 19.5), or who have avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID).
