Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- You have had surgery as the main treatment for your condition
- After surgery, lab tests confirmed you have a type of bile duct cancer that started inside the liver (called intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma)
- Your surgical results showed either that the cancer was removed with a very small margin of healthy tissue (less than 1cm) around it, or that cancer was found in nearby lymph nodes
- Your surgeon was able to remove the tumor completely or nearly completely (no visible cancer left behind)
- Your liver is functioning well enough after surgery, based on a standard liver health score (confirm with trial site)
- If a large proportion of your removed lymph nodes contained cancer, or if cancer spread to certain specific lymph node areas, you must have had a special full-body scan (PET-CT) before surgery or radiation to confirm the cancer has not spread to distant parts of the body
- You have had a detailed liver scan (contrast-enhanced MRI) after surgery to confirm there are no additional small cancer spots in the liver
- You have recovered from surgery and are able to carry out basic daily activities, based on a standard health scale rated 0 to 2 (confirm with trial site)
- Doctors estimate you are expected to live for more than 3 months
Who may not be able to join:
- You have had another type of cancer in the past, unless it was a specific type of minor skin cancer or very early-stage cervical cancer
- You have previously had radiation treatment to your abdomen (belly area)
- You have previously had a liver transplant
- You have a serious heart condition or severe kidney failure
- You had a noticeable build-up of fluid in your abdomen (causing symptoms) within 4 months after surgery
- It has been 4 months or more since your surgery
