Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 12 years or older
- People who weigh at least 40 kilograms
- People whose T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia or lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-ALL/LBL) has come back or stopped responding to treatment, specifically: those who have already tried two or more different treatments without success; those whose disease came back within 12 months of their first period of remission; or those whose disease returned after a stem cell transplant from a donor, as long as at least 100 days have passed since that transplant
- People who have at least 5% abnormal cells (lymphoblasts) in their bone marrow, or who show signs of disease outside the bone marrow, based on tests done at the start of the trial
- People for whom a suitable stem cell donor is available — this includes a matched related donor, a matched unrelated donor, a half-matched (haploidentical) donor, or an identical twin donor
- People whose major organs (such as liver, kidneys, and heart) are functioning adequately
- People who are well enough to carry out basic daily activities, based on a standard health performance scale — a score of 60 or above on the Karnofsky scale (for those aged 16 and over) or the Lansky scale (for those under 16)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a genetic condition linked to bone marrow failure, or any other known bone marrow failure condition
- People whose cancer has spread to or is currently active in the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord)
- People with a history of serious heart failure (classified as NYHA class III or IV), or who have had a heart attack, heart procedure (such as angioplasty or stenting), unstable chest pain, or other serious heart conditions within the past 12 months
- People with a condition where the immune system does not work properly from birth (primary immune deficiency)
- People who currently have an infection that is not under control
- People with a known history of HIV, hepatitis C, or syphilis infection
- People with an active or latent (inactive but present) hepatitis B infection
- People who test positive for Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) or cytomegalovirus (CMV) at the start of the trial
