Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults between 18 and 85 years old.
- People who have been diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis (long-term inflammation of the pancreas) that does not cause pain.
- People who have never previously had a procedure called ERCP (a procedure to examine the pancreas and bile ducts) or ESWL (a treatment that uses shockwaves to break up stones in the pancreas).
Who may not be able to join:

- People who have previously had surgery on their pancreas or certain types of stomach bypass surgery (such as a Billroth II procedure).
- People whose illness is at a very advanced or end-stage.
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- People for whom ESWL or ERCP treatment would not be safe for medical reasons (confirm with trial site).
- People who do not wish to give their formal agreement to take part in the trial.
