- People who receive their medical care within the BJC Health System
- People who have had at least one appointment with a primary care doctor in the same calendar year as their PSA screening
- People who are male
- People who do not have a history of prostate cancer
- People who fall into at least one of the following risk categories:
- Higher risk: African American men between the ages of 40 and 75 (inclusive), OR people with a family history of prostate, breast, ovarian, and/or pancreatic cancer, OR people known to carry a family-related gene mutation linked to cancer
- Average risk: Men between the ages of 50 and 75 (inclusive)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a prior history of prostate cancer
- People who do not receive care within the BJC Health System
- People who have not had at least one primary care doctor visit in the same calendar year as their PSA screening
- People who do not fall within the eligible age ranges or risk categories listed above
