Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are a man or woman between 18 and 60 years old who has been diagnosed with asthma
• Your asthma is considered mild to moderate, based on a breathing test result showing your lungs are working at 60–80% of the expected level for someone your age and size
• Your asthma has been stable recently, meaning you have not had a sudden worsening of symptoms
• You are able to follow instructions and perform a standard breathing test called spirometry
• You have not had a respiratory infection (such as a chest infection or cold affecting your breathing) recently

Who may not be able to join:

• Your asthma is classified as severe, meaning your breathing test shows your lungs are working at less than 60% of the expected level
• You currently have a respiratory infection, have recently had a sudden worsening of your asthma, or have other significant health conditions alongside your asthma
• You are unable to do breathing exercises or complete the breathing test required by the trial
• You are currently taking certain medications, including steroid tablets taken by mouth or beta-blocker medicines
• You are pregnant, due to possible risks associated with the breathing exercises used in this trial
