For people with Crohn's Disease:

Who may not be able to join:
For people with Crohn's Disease:
- You have been diagnosed with a type of bowel inflammation that doctors cannot clearly identify as either Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis
- You have or may have a pocket of infection (abscess) inside your abdomen or around your back passage
- You have had large portions of your small intestine removed (more than 100 cm total), or more than two sections of your large intestine removed
- Your Crohn's Disease affects only the stomach, upper small intestine, or the area around the back passage, without involving the lower small intestine or large intestine
For people with Ulcerative Colitis:
- You currently have, or have had in the last 6 months, a severe flare-up of your colon, a dangerously swollen colon, or a hole in your bowel
- You currently have a stoma (a surgically created opening in the abdomen for waste) or are likely to need one
- You have received steroid medication given directly into a vein (IV) within the 14 days before or during the screening period
- You have had your entire large intestine and rectum, or most of your large intestine, surgically removed
