Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have had a stroke (either from a blocked blood vessel or bleeding in the brain) at least 6 months ago, affecting one side of the brain, confirmed by medical records

Who may not be able to join:

• You have reasons why you cannot safely have TMS (a type of brain stimulation), such as having had a seizure in the past 2 years, being pregnant, or having metal implants in your body
• Your score on a standard thinking and memory test is below a certain level
• You are currently receiving physical or occupational therapy, or taking part in another clinical trial related to your stroke
• You have injuries or conditions affecting your stroke-affected arm or hand beyond the stroke itself, such as arthritis
• You have significant vision problems that cannot be corrected with glasses or contact lenses
• Your stroke affected the cerebellum (the lower back part of the brain)
• You have a major medical, neurological, or psychiatric condition that affects your physical function, as determined by the study doctor
• The brain signal test shows no movement signals reaching your muscles on the affected side (confirm with trial site)
