- People who have been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer confirmed by a biopsy, including lobular, ductal, or related types
- People whose breast cancer falls within certain size and spread categories, based on imaging or physical examination (ranging from smaller tumours with no lymph node involvement to larger tumours with some spread to nearby lymph nodes, including some cases where cancer may have spread to other parts of the body)
- People whose cancer cannot be removed by surgery, who have been assessed by a surgeon as not being a good candidate for surgery, or who have chosen not to have surgery
- People who are expected to live for more than 6 months
- Women of childbearing age who have a negative pregnancy test at the time treatment begins

- People whose body size or physical characteristics make it not possible to plan or deliver the study treatment safely (confirm with trial site)
