Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have been diagnosed with localised breast cancer and have finished their main treatment (surgery, and/or chemotherapy, and/or radiotherapy) within the last 6 months
  • People who scored 5 or higher on a distress measurement scale called the Distress Thermometer
  • People aged 18 or older
  • People who have signed a consent form agreeing to take part in the trial
  • People who have had a previous cancer diagnosis, including a previous breast cancer
  • People who have had previous cancer treatment, including chemotherapy for a prior cancer
  • People who are currently taking part in another clinical drug trial
  • People who are currently on, or are planned to start, certain ongoing treatments lasting more than 3 months during the study period — such as anti-HER2/neu therapy, immune checkpoint inhibitors, anti-hormonal therapy, CDK4/6 inhibitors, or other additional cancer treatments
  • People who are using other complementary therapies, including mistletoe therapy

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have language difficulties or cognitive difficulties (including reduced consciousness) that would make taking part in the study not possible
  • People with serious physical or psychiatric health conditions that would prevent participation in the study
  • People who are not in a position to give their own informed consent
  • People who are pregnant
