Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults between 18 and 70 years of age
- People who have had a spinal cord injury (SCI) for at least 1 year, with the injury located at or below a specific level of the spine (between the third cervical and eighth thoracic vertebrae)
- People with an incomplete spinal cord injury, meaning some signals can still pass through the injured area (classified as incomplete-B, C, or D)
- People who are medically stable and have received clearance from their doctor to participate

- People who are currently experiencing a serious illness or infection
- People with wounds (pressure ulcers) that are not healing
- People with an untreated bladder or urinary tract infection
- People with cardiovascular (heart or blood vessel) disease
- People with a lung disease
- People with active heterotopic ossification, a condition where bone tissue forms in abnormal places in the body (confirm with trial site)
- People with uncontrolled high blood pressure
- People experiencing severe nerve pain
- People who are pregnant
- People who experience severe, recurring, and uncontrolled autonomic dysreflexia, a condition where the nervous system overreacts causing sudden changes in blood pressure and other symptoms (confirm with trial site)
- People with a history of seizure disorder
