Who might be able to join this trial:
- Children and teenagers between the ages of 5 and 18 years old
- People who have had at least one clinic visit (for any reason — illness, a routine check-up, or a follow-up appointment) at one of the participating clinics during the study period
- People who have been prescribed a preventer asthma inhaler (called an inhaled corticosteroid, or a combination inhaler) at least once in the past year for ongoing asthma management
- People whose asthma has not been well controlled recently, meaning either their asthma control score was rated as uncontrolled in the past 6 months, or they were prescribed two or more courses of oral steroids for asthma flare-ups in the past 12 months (with at least one of those occurring in the last 6 months)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have moved to a different clinic or are no longer receiving care within the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Pediatric Care Network
