  • You have been diagnosed with peripheral artery disease (poor blood flow in the legs) that causes symptoms such as leg cramping when walking or pain at rest, but does not yet involve tissue death or gangrene (a specific level called Rutherford 2–4)
  • The blocked or narrowed blood vessel being treated is located in a specific artery in your thigh (superficial femoral artery) or behind the knee (popliteal artery), or both, and has not previously had a stent placed there

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are under 18 years of age
  • You are unable or unwilling to give your consent to take part in the study
  • Your doctor believes your life expectancy is 12 months or less
  • You are pregnant, breastfeeding, planning to become pregnant within 12 months of the procedure, or unwilling to use contraception for 12 months after the procedure (a negative pregnancy test within 7 days before the procedure is also required if applicable)
  • You are unable or unwilling to attend the required follow-up appointments after the procedure
  • You are currently taking part in another clinical trial involving an experimental drug or device, unless it has been at least 30 days since the main measurement point of that previous study
