Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults between 65 and 75 years of age at the time of joining, who have at least one close biological relative (such as a parent, sibling, or child) who has had or currently has any form of dementia
- People who score above 24 on a standard memory and thinking test called the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) at the start of the trial
- People who are able and willing to read and sign a consent form
- People who are able and willing to complete required physical performance tests
- People who are able and willing to provide the minimum biological samples required by the study
- People who are able and willing to take part in the minimum study procedures required
- People who are able and willing to complete surveys, thinking and memory assessments, and questionnaires written in English
- People who have access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection for certain study procedures
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have already been diagnosed with any form of memory or thinking impairment, including Alzheimer's disease, mild cognitive impairment, or any other type of dementia
- People whose score on the MoCA memory and thinking test is below 25 at the start of the trial
- People who are currently pregnant (based on self-report)
- People under 19 years of age
- People who are not fluent in both written and spoken English
- People who have a long-term or advanced serious illness that the trial site determines would interfere with their ability to participate
- People who have been hospitalised for any reason in the past 3 months
- People with severe hearing or vision difficulties that would make it hard to complete the study's assessments
- People identified as otherwise vulnerable at the time of joining, as defined by the trial site
