Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults between the ages of 20 and 85 who have a visual field defect (a loss of part of their vision) caused by a stroke
- People whose Norwegian Class 1 driving licence was revoked no more than five years ago
- People who speak a Scandinavian language (such as Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish)
- People who are able to sign a written consent form to participate
- People who are motivated and willing to take part in study activities over a total period of 20 to 28 weeks
- People who own a personal computer, which is needed for digital check-ins and online vision training exercises
- People who are able to travel to Oslo for data collection visits
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a condition called strabismus (where the eyes do not point in the same direction) and/or visual neglect (a condition where a person is unaware of things on one side of their vision)
- People who have an eye disease or other health condition that would prevent them from meeting the medical requirements for a Norwegian Class 1 driving licence
- People who have cognitive impairment, dementia, a severe psychiatric diagnosis, or who are otherwise unable to sign a written consent form
