Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Men between the ages of 18 and 90 at the time of enrolling in the study
  • People who have had an MRI scan in the past 12 months that showed at least one area of concern on the prostate, rated on a scale used by radiologists (called PI-RADS, scores 3 to 5)

Who may not be able to join:

  • People for whom a specific type of PET CT scan using a substance called flotufolastat F 18 would not be safe or suitable (confirm with trial site)
  • People for whom an ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy (a procedure to take a small tissue sample from the prostate) would not be safe or suitable (confirm with trial site)
  • People who have previously received any treatment for prostate cancer
  • People who are unable to stop taking blood-thinning medications for 7 days before the biopsy procedure
  • People who have taken part in another clinical trial involving an experimental treatment within the 42 days before the first dose in this study
  • People who are unable to understand or follow the study's instructions, or who are unable to complete the required scans or biopsy for any reason — for example, severe fear of enclosed spaces, inability to lie still for the full duration of a scan, or any condition that prevents the required body position during imaging

Early Phase 1 studies are small, early exploratory studies that come before the main Phase 1 to 3 testing, so a standard phase success rate does not apply.
