- You have been diagnosed with heart failure where the heart's pumping ability is below 40%

- You have a lung condition such as emphysema or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- You have another significant heart or blood vessel condition alongside your heart failure
- You are currently under a legal protection order or are not free to make your own decisions (confirm with trial site)
- You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
