Who might be able to join this trial:

• Adults aged 19 years or older (male or female)
• People who have a confirmed history or treatment record of year-round allergic rhinitis (such as allergies to dust mites or pet dander) for at least 2 years before the screening visit
• People who have had a positive allergy test — either a skin prick test or a blood test — within the past year, showing an allergy to at least one year-round allergen (such as house dust mites, cats, dogs, or moulds)

• People whose nasal symptom diary recordings during the 7-day lead-in period show: symptom checks completed twice a day on at least 4 of those 7 days, and an average daily nasal symptom score of 6 or higher out of 12
• People who took their required medications as directed at least 80% of the time during the 7-day lead-in period

Who may not be able to join:

• People diagnosed with rhinitis (nasal symptoms) caused by something other than allergies
• People who had an acute asthma flare-up within the 12 weeks before screening
• People diagnosed with a lung or breathing condition other than asthma
• People who had acute sinusitis (sinus infection) within 4 weeks before screening, or who have chronic sinusitis considered significant by the doctor
• People who have nasal polyps or other notable structural abnormalities in the nose
• People who had surgery on or around the nose within 12 weeks before screening
• People who had an upper respiratory tract infection (including the common cold) or a whole-body infection within 3 weeks before screening
• People who started allergy immunotherapy (allergy shots or similar treatment) or changed their immunotherapy dose within 4 weeks before the screening visit
• People taking certain long-term medications that the investigator believes could interfere with measuring how well the trial treatment works (for example, a type of antidepressant called tricyclic antidepressants)
• People currently taking, or expected to need during the study, any medications that are not permitted under the trial rules
• People whose blood test results at screening show liver enzyme levels (AST or ALT) more than twice the upper limit of the normal range
• People whose blood test results at screening show significantly reduced kidney function (an eGFR below 30 mL/min/1.73 m², as calculated by a standard kidney formula)
