Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are able to give written consent and are willing to follow the study requirements
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, or IBD-unspecified
- People who have had recent evidence (within the last 6 months) of active IBD, shown through a colonoscopy, intestinal ultrasound, a scan, or raised inflammation levels in a blood test

Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable or unwilling to give consent or are unlikely to follow the study requirements
- People whose doctor is starting advanced therapy only to treat symptoms outside the gut (such as joint or skin symptoms), rather than gut symptoms
- People who have a known eating disorder
- People who are already receiving a specific dietary therapy or stress management program
- People who have a serious untreated mental health condition, including a history of suicidal thoughts
- People who have an untreated infection, such as a C. difficile gut infection
- People who have a stoma (a surgically created opening in the abdomen) or a J-pouch (a surgically created internal pouch)
- People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study
- People who are receiving nutrition through an intravenous drip (TPN) or who are already following a therapeutic diet specifically for IBD
