Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with peripheral artery disease (a condition affecting blood flow in the legs) by a cardiovascular surgery department
- People whose blood flow measurements in the legs meet certain thresholds, or who have been diagnosed with a calcified (hardened) blood vessel response, and whose condition is currently stable and being monitored

- People who weigh more than 110 kg, as this is the maximum weight the exercise equipment used in the trial can support
- People for whom exercise testing is not considered safe, based on guidelines from the American Sports Medicine Association
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People with peripheral artery disease who have had major surgery or a heart attack within the last 3 months
