Who might be able to join this trial:
- People whose body weight is between 40 and 110 kilograms (about 88 to 242 pounds) and whose body mass index (a measure of body weight relative to height) falls between 18 and 34
- People who have been diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson's disease (Parkinson's disease with no known cause) based on recognised Movement Disorder Society guidelines
- People who have been treated with a single Parkinson's disease medication on its own (not a combination of medications)
- People whose movement complication score (a specific medical rating called MDS-UPDRS Part IV) is zero at the time of screening and before being assigned to a treatment group
- People whose Parkinson's disease stage, as measured by the Hoehn and Yahr scale while off medication, is Stage 1 or 2 (indicating earlier-stage disease) at screening and before being assigned to a treatment group
- People who agree to follow the contraception requirements set out by the trial for its duration
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the trial or within the period when contraception is required
- People whose medical history suggests a type of Parkinsonism other than idiopathic Parkinson's disease
- People who have been diagnosed with a significant neurological (brain or nervous system) condition other than Parkinson's disease
- People who have ongoing high blood pressure that is not well controlled
