Who might be able to join this trial:

- People who have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or other ongoing or sudden lung conditions that require regular or occasional oxygen use, or whose blood oxygen level is 92% or below while breathing normal air
- People with serious problems affecting major organs, including significant heart failure, kidney failure requiring dialysis, severe liver disease, raised pressure in the skull, or an overall health status rated as severely unwell by medical classification (confirm with trial site)
- People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- People with a known allergy to sedative medications (such as propofol) or to medical adhesive products
- People who have sustained multiple traumatic injuries
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial
- People who have any other condition that the trial doctor considers makes participation unsuitable
