  • Men between 40 and 95 years of age who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer that has been confirmed by a biopsy and has not spread beyond the prostate.
  • People whose cancer has been graded at a certain level of aggressiveness (Grade Group 2 or higher, also known as a Gleason score of 3+4 or above).
  • People whose cancer appears in only one area of the prostate, as seen on a specialised MRI scan called an mpMRI.
  • People who are already scheduled to receive a treatment called HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) as part of their standard medical care.
  • People whose PSA level (a protein measured in the blood related to prostate health) is below 20 ng/mL.
  • People whose cancer has been confirmed as not having spread to other parts of the body, based on a specialised scan called a PSMA PET/CT.
  • People who are willing to attend follow-up appointments, including blood tests, scans, and biopsies as required by the trial.

Who may not be able to join:

  • People whose scans show that the cancer has spread to other parts of the body.
  • People who have a known allergy to a contrast agent called POSLUMA or to gadolinium (a substance used in MRI scans).
