  • People who have fluid build-up around the lungs, heart, or pelvis that keeps returning and needs to be repeatedly drained
  • People whose cancer is growing into the heart or major blood vessels, where the treating doctor considers there to be a serious risk of life-threatening bleeding
  • People whose cancer is growing into the windpipe or airways, where the treating doctor considers there to be a risk of an abnormal opening forming between the oesophagus and airway
  • People whom the treating doctor considers unsuitable for the specific type of focused, short-course radiation therapy used in this trial
  • People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • People with a diagnosed mental health disorder, or those with a history of misusing psychiatric medications and who are unable to stop
  • People who have taken part in another drug clinical trial within the past four weeks
  • People, or their families, who do not wish to participate in the study
