Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have serious health conditions or other factors that might prevent full participation, such as mental illness, deafness, difficulty moving their limbs, coronary heart disease, arterial aneurysm, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or pregnancy
  • People who also have other lung conditions such as asthma, interstitial lung disease, or bronchiectasis, or who have an active cancer diagnosis
  • People with very severe COPD who require ongoing oxygen therapy at home or a breathing support machine (home non-invasive ventilation)
