Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are male and between the ages of 40 and 95
- People who have prostate cancer that is contained within the prostate, confirmed by MRI scan and biopsy
- People whose prostate cancer has not spread outside the prostate, and who have chosen a treatment called focal HIFU (a type of targeted ultrasound treatment) to treat their cancer
- People whose cancer is at an early or low grade stage (known as Gleason 6 or 7)
- People who are willing and able to give their informed consent to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have not been diagnosed with prostate cancer
- People who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer that is contained within the prostate, but who have chosen a different treatment option other than focal HIFU
- People who are unwilling or unable to give their consent to participate
