Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 50 and 75 years old (any gender)
- You have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, confirmed by a special brain scan that detects amyloid protein (a protein linked to Alzheimer's)
- Your Alzheimer's is mild to moderate, shown by a memory and thinking test score between 15 and 30 out of 30
- You have a regular caregiver who is willing and able to accompany you throughout the whole trial program
- You can read and write at least at a primary school level, enough to complete the tests involved in the trial
- You (or your legal guardian) are willing to take part voluntarily and sign a consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- Your dementia is caused by something other than Alzheimer's, such as vascular dementia, frontotemporal dementia, or Lewy body dementia
- You have another serious illness affecting your whole body, including certain cancers or serious lung conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or pulmonary fibrosis
- Your white blood cell or neutrophil counts (types of immune cells measured in a blood test) are below the normal range
- You currently have an active infectious disease such as syphilis, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C
- You have a history of stroke, epilepsy, heavy alcohol use, or misuse of psychiatric/mind-altering drugs
- You have severe vision or hearing problems, or any other reason that would prevent you from completing the trial's assessments
- You have taken part in another clinical trial within the last 2 months
- The trial researchers decide there is any other reason you would not be suitable for the trial (confirm with trial site)
