Who might be able to join this trial:
- People diagnosed with open angle glaucoma, pseudoexfoliative glaucoma (a type caused by a build-up of protein deposits), or pigmentary glaucoma (a type caused by pigment particles blocking drainage)
- People whose eye pressure, measured at a pre-surgery appointment, falls between 20 and 40 mmHg (a unit used to measure eye pressure)

- People who have a healthy, unrestricted area of the thin tissue covering the white of the eye (the conjunctiva) in the part of the eye being treated

Who may not be able to join:
- People whose glaucoma is caused by the drainage angle being closed or narrow (angle closure glaucoma)
- People with glaucoma that is present from birth, caused by abnormal blood vessel growth, or caused by other underlying conditions
- People who have had previous eye surgery, unless it was straightforward cataract surgery with no complications
- People who have already had a glaucoma drainage implant or valve placed in the part of the eye being targeted for this trial
- People who have had a significant eye infection or inflammation in the eye being studied within the 30 days before the planned surgery date
- People with a history of surgery on the cornea (the clear front surface of the eye), or who have corneal scarring or corneal disease
- People who have retinal or optic nerve conditions, whether worsening or long-standing, that are separate from their existing glaucoma diagnosis
