Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) — such as Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis, or IBD-Unclassified — for at least 3 months
- You are between 10 and 21 years old (up to the day before your 22nd birthday) at the time of joining the trial
- You are currently being seen by a gut specialist (gastroenterologist) at Connecticut Children's
- Your IBD is currently considered to be in remission, meaning your symptoms are well controlled based on a standard scoring tool used by your doctor
- You are already receiving IV infusion treatments for your IBD at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center Infusion Center
- You are able to eat and drink normally by mouth and do not have major food restrictions or need special nutritional supplements
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently following a medically prescribed or restrictive diet, such as the Crohn's Disease Exclusion Diet, ketogenic diet, Specific Carbohydrate Diet, low FODMAP diet, gluten-free diet, paleo diet, or Whole30
- You are receiving any nutrition through a feeding tube (such as a tube through the nose or a tube directly into the stomach or small intestine)
- You have had bowel surgery in the last 3 months that affects your ability to eat and digest food normally
- You do not speak English, as translation services will not be available for this study
