Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are willing and able to sign a consent form (either yourself or through a legal representative)
- You are willing and able to follow all study procedures as required
- You are between 55 and 89 years old (inclusive)
- You have been clinically diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment or mild dementia likely caused by Alzheimer's disease, based on standard memory and thinking assessments
- You are able to attend in-person visits at Cedars-Sinai on a weekly basis
- If you are currently taking Alzheimer's medications (such as donepezil, rivastigmine, memantine, or galantamine), your dose has been stable for at least 4 weeks before joining
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a significant brain or nervous system condition other than Alzheimer's disease (such as epilepsy or Parkinson's disease)
- You have a history of seizures
- Your brain scans show a growth or mass taking up space in the brain (confirm with trial site)
- Your brain scans show a certain level of white matter changes, more than 2 small strokes, or more than 5 tiny bleeds in the brain (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have taken part in another clinical trial or received an experimental drug in the past 30 days
- You have actively used illegal substances or unprescribed mind-altering drugs in the past 30 days
- You have severe dementia caused by Alzheimer's disease or any other condition
- You have a physical or mental condition that would prevent you from completing the memory and thinking tests required by the study
