Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have a formal diagnosis of lymphoma or multiple myeloma recorded in their medical records.
- People who have a follow-up appointment scheduled within the next month at one of the participating outpatient oncology clinics (Dr. David Russler-Germain's Lymphoma Clinic, Dr. Michael Slade's Multiple Myeloma Clinic, or Dr. Dilan Patel's Lymphoma Clinic).
- People who are currently receiving treatment through infusions or injections aimed at curing or managing their disease (not purely comfort-focused care), given once every one to four weeks — this includes common treatment plans such as R-CHOP or ABVD for lymphoma, or induction and maintenance chemotherapy for multiple myeloma.
- People who are between 18 and 99 years old at the time of joining the trial.
- People who are able to make their own medical decisions independently, without a legal representative, and who have no recorded diagnosis of cognitive impairment.
- People who are able to read material on an electronic device and on paper, and who can speak and communicate during clinic appointments, without significant visual or English reading difficulties (based on self-report).
- People who are able to use email and can complete an electronic consent form through a service called DocuSign.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are 100 years of age or older.
- People who require a legally authorised representative to make medical decisions on their behalf, or who have a recorded diagnosis of cognitive impairment.
- People whose vision or ability to read English would make it difficult to read printed or on-screen materials or to communicate during appointments.
- People who are not able to use email or complete an electronic consent process.
