Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are generally in good health based on a physical exam, medical history, vital signs, and a heart tracing (ECG) done at the screening visit
- You have been diagnosed with chronic atopic dermatitis (eczema) for at least 1 year before the screening visit, following recognised medical guidelines
- Your eczema is rated as moderately severe or worse on standard medical scoring scales at both the screening visit and the start of the study
- At least 10% of your body surface area is affected by eczema at both the screening visit and the start of the study
- Within the past 6 months, your eczema did not respond well enough to medicated creams or ointments, or those treatments were not suitable for you — OR within the past 12 months, your eczema did not respond well enough to systemic (whole-body) treatments
- You are willing and able to sign a consent form showing you understand the study and agree to take part
- You are able and willing to attend scheduled visits, follow the treatment plan, have lab tests done, and follow any lifestyle guidelines required by the study
- If you choose to take part in any optional sub-studies, you are willing to sign a separate consent form for those
Who may not be able to join:
- You have had a problem with substance or alcohol misuse within the past year
- Your screening tests (heart tracing, blood tests, or urine tests) show results that the study doctor considers significant enough to affect your safety or the study results
- You have a known or suspected weakened immune system, or a history of serious infections that the body normally fights off easily
- You have previously received the study drug JNJ-95597528
- You have a known allergy or sensitivity to JNJ-95597528 or any of its ingredients, to any biologic medication, or to certain types of laboratory-made antibody treatments (confirm with trial site)
