Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with a stroke, as defined by the World Health Organization
- You are 18 years of age or older
- Your stroke has been confirmed by a CT scan and/or MRI scan
- It has been at least 3 months since your stroke
- You are able to walk at least some of the time, either with or without help, meeting a certain level on a walking ability scale (confirm with trial site)
- You have agreed to take part and have signed a consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- You have had a stroke before the one being considered for this trial
- You have communication difficulties, for example due to language or speech problems after stroke, or dementia
- You are unable to read or write
- You have memory or thinking difficulties that make it hard to follow instructions, based on a standard test score (confirm with trial site)
- You have a condition such as cancer, heart failure, liver failure, or kidney failure that may cause tiredness or fatigue
- You currently show signs of an infection affecting your body
- You have a history of a specific type of bleeding in the brain called subarachnoid hemorrhage
