Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older who have psoriasis and for whom a whole-body (systemic) treatment has been recommended by their doctor
- People diagnosed with chronic stable plaque psoriasis (a long-term, steady form of psoriasis that causes raised, scaly patches on the skin)
- People who have not used any whole-body (systemic) psoriasis treatment in the past 2 months, or who have never used one before
- People who are willing and able to use reliable contraception throughout the study period
Who may not be able to join:
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or women who could become pregnant but are not using an effective form of contraception
- People under 18 years of age
- People currently using other whole-body (systemic) psoriasis treatments, such as Acitretin or biologic medicines
- People who have used any whole-body (systemic) psoriasis treatment within the last 2 months
- People taking certain medicines that affect how the body processes drugs (specifically medicines that interact with liver enzymes called CYP3A4 and CYP1A) (confirm with trial site)
- People with serious conditions affecting organs such as the liver — note that people with COPD (a lung condition) may still be considered
- People with a known allergy or sensitivity to the study drug roflumilast or any of its ingredients
- People using a specific contraceptive pill containing gestodene and ethinylestradiol
- People who, in the clinical team's assessment, may be unable to reliably follow the study requirements (confirm with trial site)
