  • You have an electronic device implanted in your body, such as a pacemaker
  • You have internal bleeding or are currently unwell with a fever
  • You have a condition called acute thrombophlebitis (a blood clot causing inflammation in a vein)
  • You have a strong fear of electricity or a psychological condition called hysteria (confirm with trial site)
  • You have a compulsive need or unhealthy dependence on physical stimulation treatments (confirm with trial site)
  • You have an infectious skin condition, such as a fungal infection or skin producing pus
  • You are not able to communicate sufficiently in Polish to complete questionnaires or follow instructions during the study
