Who might be able to join this trial:
For people living with dementia:
- People who have been diagnosed by a doctor with probable Alzheimer's disease or early-stage memory and thinking problems linked to Alzheimer's disease.
- People who are experiencing at least one significant behavioural or emotional symptom, such as depression, agitation, apathy (low motivation), or disturbed sleep at night.

- People who have been living in the same care setting or home for at least two weeks before joining the trial.

- Adults who are the primary carer of someone enrolled in the trial.

Who may not be able to join:
- People with a disease affecting the retina (back of the eye), those currently taking medications that increase sensitivity to light, those who have had eye surgery in the past four weeks, or those with a condition that causes sensitivity to light (such as a type of epilepsy triggered by light).
- People with an unstable physical or mental health condition that the research team considers unsuitable for participation, such as sudden severe confusion (delirium) or an active respiratory illness including COVID-19.
