Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are male and at least 18 years old
• People who are able to understand the trial requirements and sign a consent form
• People who have been diagnosed with prostate adenocarcinoma (a specific type of prostate cancer), confirmed through a tissue sample
• People whose cancer has spread to other parts of the body but is considered "low volume," meaning it does not meet the criteria for high-volume spread (such as four or more bone lesions with at least one beyond the spine or pelvis, or spread to internal organs). This must have been assessed using a bone scan and CT scan, or a PSMA-PET scan, and confirmed by the treating medical team
• People who have started hormone therapy (ADT) within the 6 weeks before joining the trial
• People whose general health and ability to carry out daily activities falls within an acceptable range (rated 0, 1, or 2 on a standard medical scale)
• People whom their treating doctor considers suitable for treatment with apalutamide or enzalutamide

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose prostate cancer has been identified as a rare type, such as small cell, ductal, or neuroendocrine carcinoma
• People who have had another cancer in the last 5 years, unless it was a superficial skin cancer (squamous or basal cell) or a non-invasive superficial bladder cancer
• People with a history of seizures, or who are taking medications known to increase the risk of seizures
• People who have had any previous treatment for prostate cancer other than hormone therapy (ADT), such as newer hormone-blocking drugs, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or radioactive treatments
• People who started hormone therapy (ADT) more than 6 weeks before the point of joining the trial
