Who might be able to join this trial:

• You (or your legal guardian) are willing to take part and can sign a consent form agreeing to join the study.
• You are between 18 and 80 years old (either sex).
• You are generally well enough to carry out normal daily activities with little or no limitation, based on a standard health scoring system (confirm with trial site).
• Your doctors expect you to live for more than 3 months.
• You score at least 70 on a standard scale used to measure how well you can perform everyday tasks (confirm with trial site).
• You have been diagnosed with a specific type of blood cancer called diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), and your cancer has come back or stopped responding to at least one previous treatment.
• Your cancer cells have tested positive for a protein called CD19, confirmed through lab testing.
• A special scan (PET scan) shows active areas of cancer that can be measured and tracked during the study.
• Your liver, kidneys, heart, and other organs are working well enough to safely take part.
• If you can become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test before joining and agree to use effective birth control for at least 1 year after treatment; if you are male with a partner who could become pregnant, you must also agree to use effective barrier contraception for at least 1 year after treatment.

Who may not be able to join:

• You have had another type of cancer in the past 2 years (some exceptions apply for certain low-risk or fully treated cancers — confirm with trial site).
• You had an infection that was not under control in the 4 weeks before joining the study.
• You currently have an active hepatitis B or hepatitis C infection.
• You have HIV.
• You have tested positive for syphilis.
• You have a serious autoimmune disease or a condition that weakens your immune system (well-controlled type 1 diabetes or thyroid conditions may be excepted — confirm with trial site).
• You have had a serious allergic reaction to a biological medicine (such as antibody-based treatments) in the past.

• Your lymphoma has spread only to your brain or spinal cord, or you have an ongoing brain or nerve condition that would make neurological monitoring difficult.

• You have recently received certain treatments, including steroid medications (other than low-dose replacement or inhaled/topical forms), chemotherapy, treatment for graft-versus-host disease, a stem cell transplant from a donor, or gene therapy.
• You are currently breastfeeding.
• The trial doctor feels you are unlikely to be able to attend all required visits or follow the study requirements.
