Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who were aged 18 to 38 years old at the time their ovarian tissue was frozen and stored
- People who have been diagnosed with breast cancer or lymphoma, and who had a small piece of ovarian tissue surgically removed and frozen before starting cancer treatment that can harm fertility
- People who finished their cancer treatment (the type that can damage fertility) at least 6 months ago
- People who have given written consent to take part in the study and to allow their personal, sensitive, and genetic information to be used
Who may not be able to join:
- People who had cancer treatments that can harm fertility before their ovarian tissue was removed and frozen
- People who are currently taking hormone therapy that stops the ovaries from working (for example, a type of medication called GnRH analogs)
- People who have certain other medical conditions or genetic changes that could themselves cause the ovaries to stop working early — for example, BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene mutations, or a number of other inherited syndromes (confirm with trial site for the full list)
- People who have a family history of the ovaries stopping working earlier than expected (known medically as premature ovarian insufficiency)

To compare the mutational status of genes involved in DNA repair mechanisms in ovarian tissue fragments from women who underwent ovarian cryopreservation and completed chemotherapy treatment for lymphoma or breast cancer
