Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are at least 50 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with a condition called Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR), either newly diagnosed or in a form that has not responded well to previous treatment.

- You have another serious unstable or uncontrolled illness that is not related to PMR.
- You are planning to have major surgery during the study, or you have certain medical conditions, blood test abnormalities, or other health concerns that would make joining unsafe (confirm with trial site).
- You are a current smoker and are over 65 years old.
- You currently have an active infection that is not under control.
- You are currently taking a medication called probenecid.
- Certain liver-related blood test results are too high (confirm with trial site).
- Your white blood cell counts (specifically neutrophils and lymphocytes) are too low, which could affect your immune system.
- You are under legal protection or guardianship (confirm with trial site).
