Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have been diagnosed with a specific type of prostate cancer called prostate adenocarcinoma
  • People whose cancer falls within a mid-range severity level (Grade Group 2, 3, or 4 out of 5)
  • People whose cancer lesion, as seen on MRI scan, is small — no larger than 3ml for a single lesion, or no larger than 1.5ml each if there are two lesions
  • People whose cancer has not visibly spread beyond the outer wall of the prostate gland
  • People whose cancer has been assessed by the medical team as being fully treatable with a targeted (focal) therapy approach, with an adequate safety margin around the treated area

Who may not be able to join:

  • People whose cancer is classified as Grade Group 5 (the most severe grade)
  • People whose cancer has visibly spread beyond the outer wall of the prostate gland
  • People who have significant prostate cancer in more than two separate areas of the prostate
  • People whose cancer is located in a position that makes targeted treatment not possible — for example, at the very tip or base of the prostate, or in another location the treating specialist determines cannot be safely treated
