Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older
- People who have had an acute ischemic stroke (a stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel) confirmed by a brain scan

- People who have taken a type of blood pressure medication called ACE inhibitors within a certain time period before the trial drug would be given (confirm with trial site for exact timeframe)
- People who are pregnant
- People who have a known allergy to the trial drug(s)
- People who have other serious health conditions alongside their stroke
- People who have participated in another clinical trial within the past 3 months
- People the research team considers unsuitable for the study for other reasons
